A New Music Video Shot with the LomoKino: Rufio, by the Killer Sound

With their music, the Killer Sound have accompanied us throughout the Valentine's Night at Lomography Gallery Store Milan. It is now time to show you their video, entirely shot with the LomoKino.

The Killer Sound are an alternative rock band from Milan, who played live during our last event in the LGS Milan.

Well, in that occasion, we had the chance to chat with them and this is what they told us:

“We got in touch with Lomography thanks to some pictures shot during our lives and we immediately fell in love with it: the bright colors, the double exposures and the impredictability of the results literally drove us crazy.
That is why we have decided to shoot our first videoclip “Rufio” with the LomoKino. The video is directed by Mattia Piazzano, a real expert in this field."

“We agreed that the video should have shown the spirit of the song, the sense of freedom, and we have shot it in a location that we feel particularly close to us: the colonne di San Lorenzo, in Milan.
Thanks to a bright, sunny day and Lomography X-pro films, the LomoKino has captured crazy, funny moments; we really enjoyed shooting it, we’ve also played with some props that we’ve found in our wardrobes.”

“While mounting it, we were surprised by the good definition and, especially, by the colours, so intense and saturated. We believe that the final result truly reflects our initial idea and we will keep on using other Lomography cameras for future projects.”

If these words have made you curious, you definitely have to watch their video, now:

    Analog By Nature

It's late October in Copenhagen and summer was well and truly behind us. With the nights drawing in, the chances of going out with one of my cameras was slim. All was not lost at this time of year, however, as it allowed me time to focus on my own personal music projects—I am a professional composer/musician and audio engineer at my own studio by day.

For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time. And you showed us what it's like to be on time.
