True colors reincarnation!
Some old friend (that supplied me a few other types of film) sold me several rolls, while telling he took ’em straight from the fridge. Getting home I was quite shocked, the expiration date said “overdue in 1995”, meaning almost no hope for a decent brightness range (or should I say “histogram wide enough”).
Anyways, as most of the film reviews say here, I was veeery please with the results! Very true. Such a colors could not be reproduced by any other film. The Kodak official site says that the film is out of production (as most of them unfortunately are) and recommends to use Kodak 160NC, which is by no means the same.
Just enjoy the shots, the tints and the colors (it’s a 160 ISO film, I shoot it like 80 ISO and sometimes even less when I use macro rings of my Kiev-6C – retro meets retro).
