We want to SEE your music - Send in musical performances, instruments, crowds, and artists as captured through your analogue lens!

Inspired by LomoAmigo Analogue Gallery’s upcoming exhibition, Sound Image, a music-themed photo exhibition and contest, we want to see your pictures!

Analogue Gallery represents Toronto’s most unique and exclusive gallery in Canada! The gallery is well known for collecting wide variations of photographs of Rock & Roll history from over six decades. Analogue Gallery offers a continuously evolving selection of images from over fifty photographers spanning more than 50 years of Rock & Roll History. Once a year, Analogue Gallery encourages the submission from emerging, mid-career, and established artists who approach the theme of music in innovative ways for their annual exhibition, Sound Image.

In the spirit of Sound Image, we want to see your music photos! Submit them here through the rumble and we’ll choose the best ones to be displayed in the Lomography Gallery Store Toronto.

Where to submit: Right HERE! In this rumble
Theme: Music Photography – Open to your interpretation!

Prizes:

  • First Prize: 20 Piggy Points
  • Second Prize: 15 Piggy Points
  • Third Prize: 10 Piggy Points
  • The First prize will be featured on Analogue Gallery’s Social Media blog in a special feature!
  • Film/Camera Type: Any analogue photo not digitally enhanced or manipulated.
  • Upload Limit: Max. 5 photos
  • Minimum Photo Dimensions/Resolution: Must have a hi-res version should you be chosen – We need to print these photos to exhibit at the LGS Toronto!

    Photos shot with a New Petzval lens are immediately recognizable for their super-sharp focus areas and wonderful swirly bokeh effect. Each New Petzval lens is crafted from brass (just like the original Petzval lens) and features premium glass optics. Together with Lomography, the lenses have been designed and constructed by a team of optics specialists at the Zenit factory in Russia. Zenit are master lens manufacturers and have the skill to build the Petzval lens for use with today’s SLR cameras.
