Join Ned from the Lomography staff on Sunday, February 17th @1pm for an amazing photo walk through Chinatown. If you didn’t get the chance to join us for the multiple exposures workshop in Chinatown then take advantage of this photo walk! Hidden alley ways and colorful lanterns are awaiting you and your Lomography camera!
This top San Francisco tourist destination is a treasure chest full of dim sum, exotic tea and other exquisite surprises. While you’re out capturing the moment you might get the chance to see some live freshly caught fish just being brought in from the pier and there are numerous other markets scattered throughout Grant Ave where such lively happenings take place.
Ned will help answer all your questions about Lomography cameras while leading you through some of the most photo scenic parts of Chinatown. As always, we have a variety of cameras available for use. Some of these include The Sardina, Fisheye No. 2 cameras, Action samplers, Diana Minis and Baby Fisheyes.
Most of our photo walk regulars enjoy using the Sardinas, Dianas and Fisheye 2 cameras for the multiple exposures affect. The Sprocket Rocket is another excellent choice if you’re looking for some panoramic photographs of Chinatown. Our store also offers a printing service for sprocket rocket prints of up to 5×12 inches. And for most people that are burned out on wall art they bought on sale at a department store, this printing service is certainly worth considering.
If you haven’t tried the 110 cameras yet because you were waiting for the slide film, well now it’s here! Lomography has officially introduced the enticing 110 Peacock slide film that grants your photographs with saturated blues and greens. And if you already have a 110 Lomography camera, then bring it to the workshop for a reduced admission fee of $5 and get your free roll of slide film!
Be sure to ask Ned about his trip to London with the Lomo LC-A wide. You can expect to hear his feedback in a Lomography article soon!
