Grandma's Home-Cooked Meals

1

Before Italian photographer Gabriele Galimberti went off couchsurfing, his doting grandmother made him one last hearty meal before leaving home. As he went along his trips around the world, he documented all the delicious dishes prepared for him by the grandmas he met along the way.

Delicatessen with love by Galimberti reminded us of an article we wrote last year. “May I Take Your Order?” was Swiss photographer Stephen Shaher’s documentation of the meals he ordered from American diners as well as the waitresses who served him. We love the careful curation and creative introspection of both projects and it makes us wish someone would cook us a nice hot meal right now!
