Your Analogue Bucket List: 3 Lomography Stuff I Want to Have in 2013

1

Every year, each of us comes up with own wishes and targets for the year. Let me tell you about the Lomography stuff that I really want to have this 2013!

1. LC-A+

LC-A+ and LC-A+ 20th Anniversary Edition

The lomography camera that I want most is the Lomo LC-A+. With its cool and compact design, I want to bring it whenever and wherever I go. The design that I really want to have is the 20th Anniversary Edition, with its blue crocodile skin design and 20th Anniversary emblem. It’s really cool. So, I decided to collect as many piggy points as I can to get this camera.

2. Smartphone Film Scanner

Smartphone Film Scanner

Lomography’s newest product, estimated to be released in the Shop in March 2013, have interested me at the first sight. How I imagine that when I have it, I can scan my films anytime, anywhere. It’s so compact, so instant, and I can also share my photos after scanning my films. I won’t need to wait too long. I really want this! After I get LC-A+, I will collect the Piggies for this stuff!

3. Some Lomography Camera Accesories

Lomography Camera Accesories

Last but not the least, I want to have this year some camera accesories, like the Ringflash, Diana's Lens, Diana+ Splitzer, Spinner 360° Motorizer for my Spinner, and maybe a Hipshot Bag to help me when I’m out shooting pictures. I hope all of these things can help me learn much about lomography and try new experiments for my experience.

Those are the items on my wishlist this year. How about yours?

My Analogue Bucket List: Faster Than a Speeding Cannonball

The new year is still young, but it seems as if it'll be over quickly. My organizer is already filled with entries until June. 2015 will probably be worse than 2014 when it comes to having time off so I could take some analogue shots. Anyway, there are some photography-related things that I really want to get done. It is probably best to set some goals if I only have very limited time.

    Finally, My Own Petzval Lens

In April of this year I had the chance to test the Petzval Lens and to write a review on it for the German photography forum Kwerfeldein. The lens excited me from the very beginning, at the time it was introduced on Kickstarter. I was afraid that once I had tested the lens, I would want to have one of my own! Well, that’s what happened; a year later, I finally bought my very own Petzval lens.

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 3

“Let me tell you about my life turning blue”. Those were the first words the guy on the bench said as he sat down beside me whilst I was eating my lunch. Usually, I prefer to eat alone but there was something about this opening sentence which really intrigued me; so I told him “Sure buddy, go ahead. Tell me about your life in blue”.

As an analogue photographer, you have probably already heard someone speak about the "sunny 16" rule when it comes to determining the correct shutter speed and aperture combination. But what's this about? Read on and I will tell you.

Sprocket Rocket: First Love Never Dies

The Lomography Sprocket Rocket - my first analogue camera ever - and I have had some troubled times behind us. We have been involved in a stormy love-hate relationship for several years. But in the end, we luckily managed to get over ourselves and overcome our problems. Now he's my old time favorite. Old love never rusts, that is.

    Analog By Nature

It's late October in Copenhagen and summer was well and truly behind us. With the nights drawing in, the chances of going out with one of my cameras was slim. All was not lost at this time of year, however, as it allowed me time to focus on my own personal music projects—I am a professional composer/musician and audio engineer at my own studio by day.

My Day in Analogue: Lazy Summer Days at Home

Every summer, my soul screams for a lazy, hot day back at my parents' home, for some good food, relaxation, and catching up with childhood friends. This year is no different, so I went back down to my small hometown in the very northeast of Belgium to enjoy a perfect laid back day doing nothing and everything. And of course, I brought my analogue cameras along to eternalize all of these small but grand moments in life.

Transient Living: Armitage & McMillan in Denver, Colorado

If you want to know the heart of a person, peek inside his/her wardrobe! And no, nobody famous said that; I only just made it up. But really, don't you think it's true? After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!
