Double Camera Double Exposures

Getting those rad double exposures using the MX button on your camera is fun and all, but nothing beats the fear and excitement associated with old school doubles, especially when it involves two different cameras!

I’m not hating on your brand new camera with its brand new features. I just love the feeling of uncertainty that you get with doing doubles the old fashioned way. But the old fashioned way involves carefully loading the film and marking the first frame with a pen or a permanent marker. I say screw it, and embrace the chaos!

You WILL get misaligned shots. The tech scanning your film WILL get pissed at you. But hey, sometimes shooting tends to get all serious. It’s during these times that we have to remember to lighten up, and do something fun!

Sometimes, not often, but sometimes, there is a joy in not knowing. As they say, ignorance is bliss. So speed through that roll, then reload it on another camera! The photos here are all taken with a Fisheye 2 and a LOMO LC-A.

Try out a little chaos in your life!

I think people sometimes get caught up in trying to get the perfect shot and forget about the magic that can happen when you leave your comfort zone ( I know im guilty of it), so thanks for the reminder!
