In 2012, I was lucky enough to take a brilliant holiday to Bulgaria, where I managed to hit a few different locations over the course of 2 weeks. This is now my favourite holiday destination ever.
I havent been to lots of countries in Europe, but when I do, I always tend to find that I prefer those to the Eastern side. Bulgaria last year was no exception. We started our holiday in Bulgaria where we met up with the lovely adash and his girlfriend who we know through Lomography. Here we did a lot of sightseeing and just appreciating the awesome buildings that exist throughout the town.
Then it was time to drive through the mountains (the Iskar gorge road), which was idyllic and beautiful, even though the driving was slightly difficult at times.
After this we stayed at the coast for a week in a town called Balchik. This is a gorgeous fishing town and as it was getting to the end of the season, it was nice and quiet for us. The seafood we ate here was amazing and I would definitely like to spend future holidays in this region. From here we took fun day trips to Nessebar, Romania and even a forrest made out of stone.
And for the last stop on our tour we went to Plovdiv for a few days. This was undoubtedly my favourite place and luckily for us we had arrived during some kind of end of summer street festivities going on in the town. There were a ton of old and ornate buildings just begging to be photographed here and I took lots of shots trying to capture them all.
Previously a music journalist, Stephen Dowling now writes for the BBC. If that isn't interesting enough, London-based writer is also passionate about film photography. He has blog called zorkiphoto where he writes about all his favourite cameras and film types. The folks over at Lomography UK lent him an LC-A 120 and, as you'll see in a bit, he managed to get some wonderful shots.
Aside from the fact that Ubud is a must-visit tourist spot in Bali, it is also the perfect place to relax and get inspired. There, you’ll see and feel something different. Staying there for a month in 2012 made me discover good places to visit. If ever you'll be in Bali for a holiday, don't forget to visit Ubud. Now, I shall take you on a quick visit to this town!

My family and I were in Udaipur (India) for a wedding ceremony and decided to travel around the area. We went to Jaisalmer, one of the most gorgeous cities I have ever seen (located on the border with Pakistan) and decided to stop by the remote Thar Desert, which is where these pictures were taken.
Hello, fellow lomographers! To be honest, ever since I started working last year, I haven't been able to write a single analogue lifestyle piece. But today I decided to write something about my days, especially about my weekend in Bandung. It's not much but I take it as the start of a new beginning in writing all over again here. So, here's my weekend in Bandung!
I don't know many bands from Russia but one that I've been admiring for years is Motorama from Rostov-on-Don. With catchy tunes and adorable videos, they took my heart by storm and that of fans from all over the world. Because of their Russian origin, Motorama is of course familiar with Lomo products. Reason enough to let them become our latest LomoAmigos! Enjoy the interview with singer Vlad and check out their B&W photos, taken with a La Sardina Splendour.
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)
Ever since the Pixelstick came out, I've been dying to try it out. This past week, I finally got my chance! With one goal in mind — getting some super cool light-painting shots — I grabbed some friends for an amazing session with my Lomo'Instant and the Pixelstick. Take a moment and have a look at these priceless pics!
Like a cluster of cherry blossoms, the temples in Kyoto can stop visitors in their tracks. These people assume the pose of a statue, a camera dangling from their neck and hands. On a first visit especially, the impulse to photograph every angle is constant. The Kinkaku-ji Temple and the torii-lined Fushimi Inari-Taisha are always packed; one would think the tourists would hurry along. But really, many are busy taking snatches of Kyoto with them.
