There is no where better than 'Layang' place to spend with a bunch of high school friends. A place where we used to hang around and kite-flying when we were younger kids!
Although having three weeks of holiday, I am spending most of my time on finishing up the school reports and working as a part timer. Eventually, I have only my nights and weekends free to spend with friends and family.
Me and my friends, we were not able to go far, restricted by our different schedules, sometimes we love to hang around place where we were used to during our high school. There is a place in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, the place is nothing but a big vacant unused open car park, where a lot of people love flying their kites, spending family times, strolling their pets. It has no name, but we call it the ‘Layang’ place, which means the ‘Kite-flying’ place in Malay language.
We brought the kite which we shared when we were still high school kids with limited pocket money, and get ready to make it hover in the sky. Me and my friends also brought along our cameras ready to record the precious moments.
This is a place to remember, a great place to spend the time where we all gather, a place that binds us so much like the strings to the kites. Happy Holidays!
