In Munich, there is a Zoo called the Tierpark Hellabrunn. It is one of the biggest in Germany, and right next to Isar. There are a lot of different animals and insects that live here, so if you're planning on a lomo-safari, then you just have to visit!
The Tierpark Hellabrunn in Munich was build in 1911 as the first Geo-Zoo of the World. If you visit the zoo, you enter a world tour of the various continents because the animals are housed according to their geographical origin.
The animal park is one of the biggest zoological institutions in Germany. The large natural systems are surrounded by water areas and rivers.
But you can still see a lot of animals really close: for example a few birdhouses. There birds fly across your head and there are turtles crawling around.
More than 17,000 animals live here, and there are more than 700 different types!
There are some pictures I took with the Diana Mini:
When I was a little child, I visited the animal park a few times, and really liked it to see all the different animals not only in the TV.
The Tierpark Hellabrunn is open all the year, from April ’til September from 9:00-18:00, and from October ’til March from 9:00- 17:00 o´clock.
