In the last holiday in Brazil I traveled to the south coast and in my bag was one of the prototypes of the Belair X 6-12. Check the beautiful views and photos that I had chance to see and shoot during this trip.
During the last holiday we had in November, I took the extra days I had and drove to the south of Brazil, more precisely to the region of Florianópolis.
I was very curious to test the Belair X 6-12 so I took with me a lot of rolls of 120 film. Before using the camera, I read the instructions that I had, but I was in a place with beautiful landscapes all around so I decided not to worry too much about any rules or photo formats.
Thanks to this “Let Loose” way I got some crazy photos with multiple exposures using the panoramic format 6×12.
To be honest I really liked the result as this random way of shooting yielded good compositions, the main difficulty was decide which part of the roll I would cut before scanning the images.
In general I enjoyed the camera a lot, she has a good definition associated with great color balance and saturation. During the trip I visited several beaches of Floripa and also went to Guarda do Embaú, one of the places I most like in the Brazilian coast.
I returned from the trip with 2 photos to finish a roll as I was anxious to see the images. As soon as I woke up in the next day I took the camera to the street market and shot the last two photos.
Then it was just going to the lab, to develop the films, take a few days later the negatives and scan them. As I saw the results I was certain that the Belair X 6-12 is a true Lomographic camera!
