Purely a matter of duty – Lomographers in Vienna circled the world famous Ringstreet in Vienna in an especially chartered Tramway – everyone was lightpainting and nightshooting like crazy! This unique atmosphere was rounded off with music & vodka shots – a great celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Lomo LC-A.

After this exciting night the LSI archivists slid in another nightshift to express develop all the rolls of film from the Lightpainting workshop which was held in the course of the LOMOGRAPHY MAK NITE© in Vienna at the 20th October 2009. Enjoy a fully analogue selection on the abstract lightpaintings that only let us surmise the great fun everyone had.

In the last decade she has spent in the USA, Maliha has stayed at six different cities in five different states. Currently, Maliha is based in Denver, Colorado, and "Transient Living," a new series in the Lomography magazine, documents her experiences and the ways that she has come to call this city her home.</i>

    Registering Moments With the Lomo'Instant

Some people say instant photos bring about a feeling of nostalgia. Although I often use the Lomo'Instant Camera with different crazy accessories such as the Splitzer and color gels, I have to agree there is something about it — dreamy vignettes maybe? — that always makes me want to go back in time and experience it all over again. In the name of analogue photography and good old memories, we passed by some classic spots in Vienna and took one shot after the other. Take a closer look at our gallery.

A Salute to the Masters: Paestum (A Tribute to Serge Moulinier)

This article is dedicated to Serge Moulinier, a largely unknown French photographer who won one of the most important prizes in France with a book on Greek architecture. Strangely, little information can be found on the Internet about this great photographer whose work had also been published in an important essay written by the famous John Szarkowski, former Director of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

A Salute to the Masters: Ducks (A Tribute to Henri Cartier-Bresson)

This article is dedicated to arguably one of the most famous street photographers in the world, Henri Cartier-Bresson (1908-2004). On this occasion, I felt obliged to write a tribute to this great artist whom I consider the "Mozart of Photography." His photos are inimitable, and to try to reproduce his innate sense of composition, harmony, and choice of the right moment is but an illusion. So I chose an unusual way to pay tribute, the only way possible for me. Take a look!
