And from there she decided to explore and share her Lomographs. This time, let us hear her as Elizaveta is our Newcomer of the Week! Warm hellos to you!

How did you find out about the Community and who/what convinced you to join?
I’ve found an information about the Community some few years ago when I was looking for a camera as a present for a friend. After I got my own camera and finished a few films, it turned out that I wanted to share my work with another other Community members and explore their work as well.
Is there anyone in the Lomographic Society you look up to? If yes, who is him/her and why?
Actually, as I’ve joined the Community just recently. I can’t say I got the inspiration from the certain work or author. There are a lot of interesting photos there and my participation is a kind of inspiration itself.
As you have read the 10 Golden Rules of Lomography, what rule do you apply in your everyday life?
Don’t worry about any rules ;-)
In this digital age, why still film?
I feel like film is something more realistic and, what is important, with film you’ll never know the result, you are not sure. You have to wait a bit and it makes you feel yourself childish, which is such a pleasant experience.
Share your current favorite Lomograph (could be yours or a friend’s)
This photo has been done one foggy morning. Colors appeared so intensive and unusual due to the cross-process, the surrealistic photo as the result.
Are you new in this Community? Wanna say hello? Then drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and you might just be our next Newcomer of the Week!
