You’ve seen it done with the Diana F+ why not give your Lubitel 166+ a try, now that you’ve got the flash and all. The only other things you’ll need are a dark room, a light source be it a flashlight or any other and a cable release or maybe a helpful friend as well as a good game plan.

Now all you have to do is:

  • Set up your Lubitel 166+ and set the shutter to B.
  • Release the shutter and keep holding it open.
  • Use the light source to paint what you like and just remember to switch it off!
  • Then take a shot with your free Diana F+ flash to delicately light the background.
  • Finally, take your finger off the release lever to close the shutter.
