Planning on shooting a location at the LA County Fair located at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA, I decided to spice things up a little! The morning before going to the fair, I thought, “Why not dress that fair up with a little with some Southern Californian home town charm?” So walking around downtown, I captured some of the best of my So Cal town of Redlands, CA to add to the action, bright lights, and fantastic fun of the fair!

Every year in the beginning of September, a small Italian town situated a few miles from my city of Como hosts an ancient fair dedicated to the Virgin Mary: the Fair of Our Lady of Rogoredo. For three months last year, I traveled to 11 cities of eight Southeast Asian countries. My first destination from my hometown of Seoul was Vietnam. After 10 days in Hanoi, I joined a group tour to Sapa, an area known for its hill tribes. This is a photo story of my two days and one night in this remote but vibrant place.
