November is Lomography's birthday month, and December brings about the 1 Year Anniversary of the Lomography Gallery Store Austin! What better way to celebrate on the cusp of these momentous occasions than with an exhibition showcasing the analogue works of art as photographed by YOU!

UPDATE: WINNERS ANNOUNCED HERE!

November brings about Lomography’s 20th birthday and we’re celebrating with an ENTIRE MONTH of door busting promotions, more new product releases than you can shake a stick at, and workshops to get you all shooting with the top Lomographic heavy weights. Week 1 of December is also our 1st Anniversary at Lomography Austin, and we want to see the amazing analogue photos you all have been shooting since we opened!

Our little baby has grown so fast!

In the spirit of community, we have partnered with The SIMS Foundation here in Austin to both donate to a worthy cause, and sweeten the prize pot for you guys! They have offered 2 VIP tickets to their black-tie live music event, Femmes for SIMS: Night of the Chanteuse, where you will get rock-star service as the official Lomographic representative for the evening!

The exhibition opens Friday, November 30, at the LOMOGRAPHY TWENTY-ONE PARTY EXTRAVAGANZA: a party big enough to do double duty as a fete which honors BOTH Lomography’s 20th birthday and Lomography Austin’s 1st anniversary!

The very next day, the 10 winning images will be seen by 3,000 – 4,000 revelers during the Downtown Austin Alliance and KUT Annual Capitol Tree Lighting & Holiday Stroll!

    Solar Eclipses and Beyond

The skies were busy with magic today — or maybe it was just the solar eclipse that caused all that ruckus? Decked out in space-age goggles and other various sun viewing paraphernalia, groups of people gathered as the moon moved between the sun and the earth this morning across Europe. Only a few lucky folks witnessed the total eclipse, and here at Vienna HQ, the greatest moment of the partial eclipse happened at 10:45 A.M. and lasted only a few minutes. We stopped everything we were doing to join the sky watchers crew and share in this astonishing moment. Check out these brilliant solar-inspired shots to celebrate the occasion!
