The Beta site keeps growing and growing. What have we been up to? Here’s a short summary:
You can share your favorite magazine entries on Stumbleupon, Digg, del.icio.us, Magnolia, Facebook and MySpace
You can upload images to some feature entries – like rumbles, the film reviews…
You can submit your own stories
But the biggest thing for us: we’ve been working on the Lab, the place for you to upload images. Some users have already received an email asking them to test this feature. So far we’ve had great feedback, both positive and constructive – thanks to all of you! Our next step is to open the Lab to more users, so we can see how well it works with multiple users uploading, editing and sorting at the same time.
We’ve worked on some of your requests and now you can…
Upload more than one image at once
Drag and drop your images into different albums
Tag images, add a camera, film and location
Edit multiple shots at the same time
Forget about re-sizing because this is done automatically and portrait shots are also supported.
So you want to be a test user too? Just leave a comment on this blog entry and the first people to respond will get an email from us with more details. Thanks! And here is a demonstration video of the new Lab:
Rooms contain what the owner values or has come to hate (tucked in boxes, of course). Colors reveal mood swings. Gardens follow the season’s orders. A house keeps up with ever-changing whims and styles—one of the things that make it a home. Here’s something to inspire your next spruce-up.
If you’ve been living on Neptune for the past week (wait, how the hell did you get there?), you might have missed the memo – The brand new Lomo’Instant Wide has landed! Pre-orders are flying in for the world’s most creative wide format instant camera and lens system and we’ve decided to launch a competition to spice up the fun even further.
As all you lomographers will know, since its re-inception we have been following the tracks of the Petzval Lens. Indeed, this bokeh-genius has been traveling far and wide, falling into the hands of many a photographer the world over. We decided to put together this little catalog of talented artists and their most enticing photographs, shot using the Petzval lens, so we can show you what wonders and mischief we have brought upon us. Come take a look at the outcome of the Petzval’s transnational journey.
I don’t like to split. A split means distance, separation, it means categorical divergence. We split hairs, we split incomes, we split up. So the first thing we have to know here is that a Splitzer – different from what you might have thought - is not at all a nasty boy splitting things up.

We asked and you answered! To celebrate the launch of the latest member of our instant family, the Lomo'Instant Boston, we requested everyone tag their photos that represent the spirit of Boston. After a healthy number of entries, it was a difficult task, but we now have the winner and runners-up!
Are you as excited about our new product launch as we are? We can hardly stand the wait, but we're almost at the final frontier! We may be keeping this secret at (docking)bay before our galactic reveal this Thursday, but in the meantime, here are some hilarious and historical fun facts about Russian Space Travel to give you a few more clues about our cosmic secret.
It’s been a long and cold winter but we’re finally getting back into the swing of things here in Chicago. We’ve got a great month of events and workshops coming up, so dust off those cameras that have been sitting around all winter and let’s take some pictures together!
Pssst, have you heard the latest? We're unveiling a brand new product very soon, and while we can't give you any strong clues right now, we hope that you can still try to guess what it is. In honor of this mystery product, we'd like to reiterate why Lomography's 10 Golden Rules is perfectly applicable to street photography.
