We’re back again to share some of the attention that Lomography has gotten in the press with coverage from around the world. Time for the second round of shout-outs!

We’re back again to share some of the attention that Lomography has gotten in the press with coverage from around the world. While it all started some 25 years ago with the little compact camera called the Lomo LC-A, we’ve been growing world wide since then with new and expanding analogue delights! Have a look at what people have been saying. Analogue doesn’t mean antique!

Our first stop, Asia with HK Walker. This glossy magazine shows the sex appeal and style of all that is Lomography. Featuring some of out best loved friends the Lubitel+, Lomo LC-A and Diana F+, what can we say but, wow! Our all star lineup is really looking good with the Fisheye, Horizon Perfekt and Supersampler bringing the grand finale and playful edge of Lomography.

Hong Kong: HK Walker, March 2009-09-08

Now over to Europe as we check in with Germany’s Foto Praxis. Also showing the Lomo LC-A strutting her stuff – we must say the years have only made her more attractive. And while we all know the Lomo LC-A can’t get enough of the attention she never goes too far with out the rest of the Lomography crew, the Actionsampler, Diana F+ and Horizon.

GERMANY: Foto Praxis, August 2009-04-08

Next stop, Freemag in Greece where we could not have said it better ourselves. The Lomography camera family is nearly all present and accounted for with some very nice sample shots. Thanks a bundle!

Doug DuBois on My Last Day at Seventeen

Doug DuBois spent five summers photographing the small neighborhood of Russell Heights in Ireland to capture the essence of coming of age: the inevitable loss of youth and the imminent transition into adulthood. Those four years resulted in his latest book, My Last Day At Seventeen. The book is a visual tale told through a collection of photographs and gives an alternative perspective through a comic narrative around the same subject. This creative combination of two distinct narratives in one book not only works wonderfully in visual terms; it also serves as an essential tool that lets the reader dig deeper into the story being told, making one go back to the book over and over again, yet from a new perspective, every single time.
