On a crisp fall afternoon a group from the Lomography Gallery Store set out to capture some incredible panoramic images. The weapon of choice selected was the Horizon Kompakt panoramic camera. To begin the LomoWalk, we ducked into a back alley on Queen Street West and started to shoot!
WHAT: Manic Panoramic Workshop
WHEN: Sunday September 29th
WHERE: Lomography Gallery Store Toronto
CAMERA: Horizon Kompakt
While exploring the alleyways we discovered some great street art and some really interesting people! We stumbled upon a cool photo shoot and even a mini yard sale. After we explored the alleyways we took to the streets.
The local skatepark was busy so we took some time to watch and snap photos. We also practiced some experimental techniques like long exposures and multiple exposures. Be sure to join the next workshop to experiment and try one of our cool cameras!
◦Workshops are $10 ($7 for students) unless otherwise noted. Workshop admission includes a free roll of film and a loaner camera if applicable. All participants will receive a 10% coupon for the store! Be sure to register early by calling the store (647)352.6702 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org to secure a spot as camera as quantities are limited.
