If you aim high you have to take steep steps. That would be the perfect description for the Geghard Monastery in Armenia. This outstanding example for religious architecture is not short of awkward atributes, which made it a UNESCO world heritage. Geghard was originally named Ayrivank, which means "monastery of the cave" and that surely is the allegory that fits this monument best because it is assembled in the natural landscape of the mountains and becomes a part of the stones. It was built in 1215 at site of a sacred cave-spring.

I was trying to make doubles with xbalboax and I took pictures of the Atlantic ocean in Maine with a Fisheye and he took pix of main street in New York ... the crazy mistake part is that unknown to both of us the slide film (velvia 100 speed) bought from ebay was already exposed when purchased and the crazy thing is that we thought it was blank yet we were MISTAKEN! it was exposed with pictures of some kind of gross surgery probably they were slides that a professor took to use in a class at a medical school, either way everybody wins with this mistake, except maybe the patient--- these pictures are either really cool or really disgusting - some people might not even want to look at them, I think they are kind of right on though :)

Well this is a story how to find out, where you have actually been. I don't know, if this sounds familiar to you, but sometimes I snap my brain away. I come from an exotic country with dozen of films and looking at the pictures I don't recall the name of the thing photographed. After I have been to the Armenian capital Yerevan I found myself in that spot.

Hanging Rock is situated in the Macedon Ranges in Victoria, about an hour out of Melbourne. It is an 'all-rounder' tourist spot - there is a long history attached to it that pre-dates European Settlement, it is a rare volcanic formation, its great for walking and scrambling over rocks, the views are fantastic and it's also the spot where, fictionally, a group of schoolgirls went mysteriously missing in 1900 while on a picnic excursion.
