one comment and 2 votesCascais is a little sweet town on the Atlantic Ocean coast, just outside of Lisbon. It takes only 40 minutes by train from Cais do Sodre train station. Return trip costs 1.40 Euro and the view through the train's window is just marvelous. You can literally see how the Grand River Tejo becomes the ocean.

3 votesThis is one site - that is, as far as I know, not mentioned in any travel book - but for me it is a very astonishing place: The Cathedral de Sacré Coeur in Oran (Algeria). During the French occupation in Algeria the authorities turned the Islamic state bit by bit into a Christian copy of France.

one comment and 1 voteNeopan SS expired in 1998: I got a few rolls and tried it using with my LC-A camera. From what I've heard, this is considered as the "school film" in Japan. Even the clumsiest of students could produce an image with it.
