Koussiri, an African village

by vicuna
posted 11 months ago
2 votesDuring my stay in Burkina Faso, I had the chance to visit a little village near of Nouna called Koussiri. This village is interesting because there's running a global humanitarian project. This project is global as there are 2 important projects in one, concerning 2 main aspects of the humanitarian help for the villages in Africa: water and school.

Camera Review of the Week

2 comments"breakphreak's":http://beta.lomography.com/homes/breakphreak review of the Diana camera is extraordinary! First it starts with the history, then it goes into the functionality of the camera, then the accessories available and then his personal take! On top of this - the pictures show as much diversity as the review itself. We bow our heads and say congratulations, those are some well deserved piggies!

If you’re ready, hop in the Deadstock time machine as we check out vintage Russian snappers and revisit classic Russian camera craftsmanship from decades gone by. Hey, ho, let’s go!

Finsbury park alley

posted 11 months agoThere is a path that runs from Finsbury Park to Highgate. It's an old railway line so you can feel like the boys in the film Stand By Me. It's a fantastic walk with a couple of disused abandoned platforms and loads of graffiti on route. A real mix of urban and country... kind of urbanity look out for the ghost train that is rumoured to pass at 23:49 on the third Sunday in November.

Checking your local fleamarket or the internet, there´s always a cam around that comes in handy and lightweighted. But now let me tell you something about the smallest production full frame 35mm camera ever made. The Minox 35 - in this case the Minox 35 ML.
