Tube – London Underground

by gyllzd
posted 11 months ago
1 voteThe tube is one of the best ways to travel around London. Although you don't get to see the landmarks you pass by like you do on the bus, the tube has a beauty all of its own. And the tube map alone is a landmark in its own right, so the underground is as much a must see as anything

2 commentsAs you know, over the past year we've been bringing you the continuous adventures of "NickyDigital":http://nickydigital.com/, New York City's premiere scene-maker and party-hound, as he visits the best parties in NYC with a Lomography camera. Nicky has been out and about with several Lomographic cameras so far (see the links below for past Nicky Digital galleries). This time around, Nicky took a "Fisheye 2":http://shop.lomography.com/fisheye/ to the beach and on vacation. But of course, he also had it in hand when he dove into New York City's nightlife scene. With a 170-degree all-access pass to the action, Nicky returned from his "latest adventure":http://www.nickydigital.com/index.php?/gallery/album/C1143/ with these photos. Enjoy!

Hyde Park, London

posted 11 months agoThis is the largest park in central London and is actually two parks, Kensington gardens and Hyde park. They total to 2.5 square kilometres which is pretty amazing as its probably in the most expensive land in the world. Its fantastic for cycles, there is a river, a royal palace and one of the best playgrounds in the world with a big ship and sand, although youll need a kid to get in.

Nunhead Cemetery, London

1 voteNunhead Cemetery in South East London is, without doubt, one of London’s best kept secrets. It is probably the least known, but one of the most attractive, of the great Victorian Cemeteries in London. Originally known as ‘All Saints’ Cemetery’ it was opened by the London Cemetery Company and consecrated in 1840. It is one of seven large cemeteries established around the outskirts of London in the Victorian era and is the second largest covering some 50 acres of land near Southwark.

The Milkybar Kid

posted 11 months agoIs that your tummy rumbling!? Quick! Head straight for The Little Venice Café! Half-way up the street, this place serves a heady fusion of Italian and Lebanese food with pizza and hummus served aside tasty wraps and scrumptious pasta. To keep your belly AND your wallet bulging, go for the Special Menu - £5.40 for two or £5.90 for three courses. VERY filling. Pizzas to go, too. Mmm!

Fuji Press (35mm, 800 iso) user-review

by vicuna

one comment and 2 votesA day with Fuji Press 800: All began with the Krab.... As I wanted to shoot underwater with my LCA+, I bought a Krab and needed a high speed film for the shots and as the LCA+ can't have a flash with the Krab housing, I was searching for an 800 ASA film. I saw on the Lomo shop this 800 Fuji Press but didn't ever heard of this film before, so I bought a pack of 5.
