one commentHooray for the Holidays! Don’t you just wish it lasted for a little longer? Well, why don’t you join us as we celebrate a Lomographic Christmas, Russian-style! As you know, the Lomography community traces its roots from Russia – the majestic place where our beloved Lomo LC-A was created. The Russians celebrate the season on the 6th January, so that means we’ll be extending the Holiday festivities both in the Lomography Stores and online until 6th January 2009! Expect lots of exciting activities in store for you!

Cold Sunny Day At Mount Junior!

by ethermoon
posted 11 months agoThis happened during the semestral break here in our country. Semestral break may range from 2-3 weeks and having such a boring place, my friend asked me if we could go over Mount Junior in Guimaras Island. I asked him why the name. He told me that long ago, the property of the whole mountain was of his grandfather. Since time immemorial, trespassers would go inside the perimeter and build houses or resting places. It was then during his father's time they again claimed the area and to avoid confusion, it was supposed to be named after his grandfather but since it was his father that claimed, it was named Mount Junior.

Split-Cam

one comment and 3 votesWhen they call this image fusion, they aren't joking! The first thing I noticed upon developing a roll of film through the Split-Cam was that some of the "tricks" or images we were trying to create didn't quite line up how we thought they would. The second thing I noticed was that it didn't seem to matter; this camera is capable of funny, unique, and sometimes intense photo combinations even if things don't come out quite like you thought they would (don't forget about the 8th and 9th rules of Lomography!)
