My (Love) Lomo Story

by evev
posted 11 months ago
8 comments and 1 voteMy Lomo story started a long time ago when I saw the Actionsampler in a magazine, but it was only abstract to me at the time. I was not sure that a plastic camera could work well, so I did not decide to buy it right then. Then I searched and learned about all Lomographic cameras to make sure that they were not toys. About two years later, my abstractness became existence.

by grad

2 comments and 2 votesThe "Moscow-City" skyscrapers are the largest building project in Europe and is already called "The Moscow Manhattan". The skyscrapers are being built on the 60 hectares area on the Krasnopresnenskaya quay and represent 15 high-rise office, trade & hotel complexes. The huge square of 1 km, which the project covers, allows to place different components on its territory, including structures for business activity as well as for rest. So, undoubtedly we see the City inside the City.

A Horizon - Strobe Flash Dream Team

by mephisto19
posted 11 months ago
11 comments and 3 votesA dreamy but perhaps strange combination would be a camera without a hotshoe paired with a flash. You may wonder how this works together? The camera in question is the Horizon Perfekt and the flash is not just any flash, it is Holgon Strobe flash.

Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise

by eazy360

2 comments and 1 voteOne of the best ways to enjoy a romantic night at the 'City of Smiles' is to enjoy a sumptuous Thai dinner aboard a ferry that cruises up and down the Chao Phraya River, offering amazing views of brightly-lit establishments and landmarks. Called the "River of Kings", Bangkok's major river gracefully snakes through this vibrant capital, and at night, becomes a shimmering jewel, reflecting the thousands of city lights that burn along its banks.

by mephisto19
posted 11 months ago
7 comments and 4 votesLooking at my Pop9 and its nine shots I thought about creating numbers like on a dice. I grabbed some black tape, taped some of the lenses and asked a friend to show some numbers with her fingers. I tried different tapings for the same numbers and called this series "learning to count". If you want to count till nine, please have a look at the shots below!

Good Night, Bangkok

by eazy360
posted 11 months ago
11 comments and 1 voteAt the height of Bangkok's anti-government protests that shut down the airports late November, I was given no choice but to spend the remainder of my second visit to this vibrant city gleefully basking in its wonderful fluorescent glow. Very eager to test the slow shutter speeds of my Horizon Perfekt (newly acquired by hard-earned piggy points), I wandered the 'City of Angels' camera-armed to discover a glimmering labyrinth as amazing at night as it is under the midday sun.
