Le Gurp Beach

2 comments and 2 votesLe Gurp is a beach near the village Montalivet in south west France. This part of the French coast is famous for surfing and oysters. The whole area is surrounded by the so called _French badlands_ of only sand an pine tree woods. The Beach itself is fairly shallow but getting deeper about 15 meters into the water; a big wave is the result.

18 commentsLadies and gentlemen we interrupt your usual newsletter to bring you breaking news that the luminous, metallic-looking unidentified ergonomic objects that were spotted late last night over Cincinnati were, in fact, chrome cameras of the Lomographic kind! We have just learnt that they are Limited Chrome editions of your favourite plastic cameras: the Diana F+, Colorsplash, Supersampler and Fisheye 2. Collectively they are known as The Chromiacs!

People forget to mention things because it doesn’t fit nice and easy into our preferred narrative. Anyways in Connecticut our best industries have been things like tobacco farming, cloth production (from cotton grown by southern slaves), and gun making…. So you see why we try and forget?
