My LomoStory by makeyuu

5 commentsI think I had a friend in school that first showed me some lomographic camera on a website. I first did not show any interest but later I found the official lomographic website and that was when I first entered the enormous, warm and analogue world of these unpredictable, oddly shaped cameras. Sitting in school and studying half the time, wandering through the website the other half. There were so many pictures to look at, so much to read about these eye opening lenses. Lomography gave me this great feeling. To see the world as something great, discovering all the interesting details and documenting, documenting and documenting. Always having your camera with you, looking for shootable things. The next step would be very natural: buying these tools of living.

2 comments and 1 voteCorsica also called "The beauty Island" is in the Mediterranean Sea. This island contains the "GR20":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GR20 , one of Europe's most famous and difficult hiking trails. There is many beautiful mountains with a lot of rivers like the Tavignano, the Restonica with very cold water but after a hard hiking it's a pleasure to swim in a pure water.

Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim

3 comments and 4 votesNow we’re talking... The Vivitar Ultra Wide & Slim is an all-plastic 22mm-lensed piece of crap that takes some of the most wonderful images you’ll ever see produced from a camera. What strikes you when you first hold the Vivitar UW&S is it’s weight – or lack of. It truly is feather light, even with the film inside. A single button sits on top, there’s a rudimentary tiny viewfinder.. and that’s it. Just point, click, and go develop those near-fisheyed strange and beautiful shots.

one commentSeems I’m the nationality of Malaysia for almost 25 years now, 6th of January 2008 was the first day I stepped in Thailand. Local people says “What a wasted!? Stay in Malaysia but have never been to Thailand?” Why are they saying that? It’s because Thailand is one of the most nearest country to Malaysia.

San Fermin - Iruña

2 commentsAfter a week hiking on the Pirinees we decided to celebrate my birthday in Pamplona. And what a wise decision it was, the whole city was dressed in red and white, all the bars were full of party people and in the streets sin took over. Even for those like us that don't like the bullfight scene, the spirit of San Fermin is about hot summer nights and dancing like there is no tomorrow, eh eh eh!

Spinalonga Island

by dogma
posted about 1 year ago
one commentSpinalonga is a Spinalonga island - tiny dot of land and Cretan sea guarder! It's an island situated in the Bay of Elounda. The history of the name 'Spinalonga' is in itself subject to conjecture but it is widely accepted that its roots lie somewhere in the Olous, Olondi, Elounda location and the words meaning long and thorn. Spinalonga is actually the name of the sizeable but slender peninsula and on maps the small island is identifiable by the name Kalidon.
