  To accompany the Lubitel tales out there in the magazine we though we could get you all into a Russian mood and take you back to the city where it all began, St. Petersburg, the home of the original Lomo factory, the LC-A and the Lubitel.   “Sanssouci” is French for “without sorrow”. And you can really immerse yourself without sorrows in ancient times when wandering through the park in Potsdam south-eastern of Berlin.

  I wanted one for the sake of novelty. I admit it. It seemed so cool to have a TLR Camera. My friend had one but he wouldn’t lend it to me because it wasn’t working properly. So when I got my LC-A I decided to add the Lubitel 2 to save on the shipping costs (Oh the lies we tell ourselves).

  This is something very special: an ISO 50 film showing almost no grain. If image quality is a priority over film speed, count on the PAN F+ to yield excellent images with fine detail and undetectable grain.

  170-degrees of beauty in every shot. Easy to load, shoot, and unload. It was a relief! I had been so engrossed in digital photography that this whole world of quirky and strange photos had completely evaded me up to that point. This camera has been the most fun I have ever had with a camera. I bring it to parties, get-togethers, even just on walks. Every time I press the shutter button I feel as if I have created a magnificent work rivaled by no other photos.

  This is such an amazing black and white film: fast speed, well controlled highlights and very nice shadow detail. Wide exposure latitude makes the DELTA 400 perfect for almost all types of photography: outside, inside, studio, landscape or portrait. If you’re interested in black and white, this is definitely a must!

  For the true monochrome enthusiast, there is nothing like the deep contrast and brilliant range of tones from a fine roll of black & white film. Since 1879, the finest B&W films on the planet have come from the grayscale wizards at Ilford.

  A beautiful black and white film for sunny days! Also has a very notable grainyness that is somehow rough and at the same time very sharp even if you have it printed on a larger scale.

  No it's not a Rolleiflex and it's not a Hasselblad I'm holding in my hands. But people sometimes think so when they see me standing there with my Lubitel pointed at a great motive ready to take the picture. "It's a LUBITEL", I tell them and they just look at me sceptically.

  The Portland Classical Chinese Garden is an amazing place to take the time to literally “smell the roses” or in this case the jasmine. The scent of sweet jasmine is all around in the totally Zen garden right in the midst of downtown Portland, Oregon.
