6 comments and 1 voteKodak elite chrome is just perfect for slide lovers! Great for action photography, and also excellent for low-light conditions. Fine grain, high sharpness, produces rich and vibrant colors.

Voodoo Spiritual Temple (New Orleans)

by kylethefrench

2 comments and 3 votesWe went on an old time cemetery tour in New Orleans then our guide dropped us off at this weird spiritual center on rampart in a sketchy ass section of town. We go in and the place is a wet mess, stuff just everywhere in the gift shop, all dusty. Then this wacky priestess takes us in her backyard and into what was another building and it was a big room just filled with crap and rolled up money and candles and what not.

Berlin Bowl

2 comments and 3 votesThis is a super fun bowling alley on the Berlin turnpike, which was one of the original highways before we had real highways in America in the '50s. Anyways there are all manner of good popular bowling alleys down the street but this one is out of the way and no one really goes there.

Bourbon Street (New Orleans)

one comment and 1 voteThis is where people flash their boobs and get the beads and show their gay junk depending on the time of year but it is more than that. It is like a history theme park and reminds me of Disney world but with tons of liquor and crime and the like. Most of these busted down buildings are from the French era mixed with the English and African and some pirates for spice, it is just lovely.

The Deepest Lake in Lithuania

by jogintas

8 comments and 1 voteWelcome to Lithuania, the country sometimes called "the land of the lakes"... And if you're interested in lakes, let's go to the one, that is named the deepest lake of Lithuania, Tauragnas. The little village near it is called after the name of the lake, Tauragnai (different ending only). The lake is 60,5 m deep and what is more, this lake also has the highest "up the sea level" of all the lakes in Lithuania (165 m).

Kaltanėnai Village

1 voteThis is another tiny village of Lithuania, but again - with at least 4 interesting things to mention. First of all, the name is taken after the lake, which is situated in village. The second interesting thing to know - this is the place, where all main roads of the national park meet, that is why this little tiny village looks shiny and has got even hotels to offer something for tourists.

Ginučiai village

1 voteThis is the place, which can be called the best possible place to rest. The village Ginučiai is very small, maybe about 20-30 houses, but still this is one of the most popular places between the people who seek calm and relaxing place for their holidays. The village is situated in the national park of Aukstaitija (one of the districts in Lithuania), that is why there are a lot of lakes near it, rivers, hills (where there were castles long time ago).
