You've seen our booth, the props, and the stuff you can play around with at Lomography's booth at photokina 2012. You've also seen the massive LomoMap that we made in front of Cologne's famous cathedral. Now we want to share the joy by showing you a gallery of the people who enjoyed our booth at photokina 2012.
The Lomography booth was crowded with visitors from all over the world. Check out these photos that we made during the exhibition!
Note: These are first analogue shots of photokina 2012, hand delivered to the lab here in Vienna and processed in under an hour to fulfill your analogue needs.
Want to see more? Well, this is all we could get for now, but stay tuned to the magazine for the latest and greatest from Photokina 2012.
Are you heading to Photokina this year? Show us some of the photos from the events here in the comments, or submit a tip on exciting photography news by emailing us.
As the week came to an end, we bid farewell to Photokina 2014. Lomography participated with patchwork photo flooring and an endless array of products that impressed spectators. Take a look at our one-of-a-kind booth and its last day of glory at the this year's trade show spectacle in Cologne, Germany.
Here at the Lomography NYC Gallery Store, we are always testing and playing with our cameras and accessories. We asked our staff to test the new Lomo'Instant camera. This time Yael, our lab manager, shared a few pictures shot around her personal life.
For the last year we've been working on the next version of Lomography. We based our work on the feedback you’ve given us over the years and we wanted to share it as early as possible with you and can’t wait to hear what you think. Just one warning first: it is still in development and things can break. All the photos, comments, likes, homes and everything else were transferred as of October 16th, 2014. So anything you do on next.lomography.com won't be reflected on www.lomography.com and vice versa. Once we are done with testing, everything you did here will be deleted again. So this is a big playground for you to explore.
This August, we bring you back to your roots and explore the wonders of nature! First, we cook up a storm with a film soup experiment. Followed by nature photowalks at beautiful scenic parks in Singapore to unearth the tips & tricks of trouble exposure, as well as the unique methods to perfect our macro shots. To cap off the learning month, we'll gather on a cozy Friday night for a new special sharing series by the Lomography Community -- with Sharing Session #1: Nature.
If you want to know the heart of a person, peek inside his/her wardrobe! And no, nobody famous said that; I only just made it up. But really, don't you think it's true? After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!
There are things that artist Valeriie Liin can't leave the house without: her earphones, two notebooks, keys to her home in Taiwan, and a little color palette for painting. It's not always that she can paint, though, so for those times she turns to her cameras.
Lomography warmly invites everyone to join us on a trip to Rockaway Beach on Saturday, July 25. We will be conducting a couple of workshops to make sure you're well equipped onyour summer beach escapades.
Singapore, like Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong, is a likely stopover when you fly far. The city is a tiny urbanized hub but it's very favorable if you know some high-spirited locals. I was lucky to hook up with king kimbo (@hakimbo), who showed me around. He took my lame limbs to the Gardens by the Bay, an amazing place which was visually striking. I was hugging some artificial trees there when I found a baby—a very big baby.
