If you want a place to take a relaxing walk and possibly learn a bit about how to keep your environment healthy and clean, then look no further.
The Santa Clarita Water Conservatory Garden is a hidden spot in the city of Santa Clarita, California. Located in the hills behind Central Park is beautiful little garden which most Santa Clarita residents probably don’t even know exists. There is no fee to enter, all you have to do is give your name to the friendly security guard at the bottom of hill (on hot days he will even give you a free bottle of water if you want it).
The garden offers many varieties of plants, flowers and trees that are either native to the area or are best suited to survive in heat of the summer. There are really no restrictions at the garden, just as long as you stay on the paths, you can pretty much go wherever you like and take as many photos as you like.
A few things to be aware of while at the garden : it can get really hot so make sure you have plenty of water and take a break every once in awhile so you don’t overheat. Also, there are snakes in the area(I have never seen any, but there are sign saying they are around).
For the most part, this a great location to spend an hour or two of your day enjoying the beautiful garden and getting a little exercise and fresh air.
