Christmas season starts very early here in the Philippines. So, I'm compiling my early Lomo Christmas Wishlist starting this September!
The “-ber” months have long started and here in the Philippines, and people have always associated these months with the advent of Christmas. Radio stations would play Christmas jingles and the Christmas countdowns have commenced. I’d like to take part in this by compiling an early Lomographic Christmas wish list!
I picked the LC-Wide for its ultra wide lens and multi-format capabilities. And it’s compact enough to fit in my purse without taking up too much space.
Among all the La Sardina editions, the Belle Star has caught my attention (and still does!) I just love how the way it looks with the oxidized metal finish paired with a matching Fritz the Blitz flash.
Second on my list are films. Most of the films that I’ve shot with are mostly color negatives and a few slide films that are available locally. I’d like to try out the Lomography X-Pro Chrome 100 35mm. I’ve seen some photos taken with this film and it’s oh-so-nice to look at!
Also, a bunch of assorted 120 films for my medium format cameras would be nice too since 120 films here are quite expensive.
Last on my wish list would be winning a rumble here in Lomography! I haven’t had the chance to win any awards yet but I’m hoping I will in the near future!

It's been a boiling, scorching, baking hot summer here in the Philippines since March, and believe it or not, I haven't been to the beach yet. I'm going to do something about that, but not without making another playlist for the trip! This time, I decided to make a mix inspired by the summer vacations of my younger days.
The Smartphone Film Scanner offers Lomographers and analog lovers a quick, easy and portable way to scan 35mm films. Simply turn on the Smartphone Film Scanner back-light, insert your film, take a photo of it using your Smartphone and use your phone's camera or the specially-developed App (iPhone and Android versions available) to edit and share.
Vodafone Fashion Weekend in London is the must-go-to event for all fashion lovers in September. There are fashion shows on the catwalk, talks with industry professionals, shopping (anything from bags to clothes to necklaces), and, if you so wish, you can even get your hair done at a very low price on the day. It's the complete TLC package in one event.
Spring has sprung in many parts of the world by now, so we're sure many of our fellow lomographers, like kleeblatt here, have started to roam their towns in search of blooming foliage brought about by the season!

The Horizon Kompakt is a miracle in the shape of a 35mm camera. Just watching its multi-coated swing lens as it sweeps 120° degrees is a wonder to behold. With "Day" and "Night" shooting settings and battery free operation, it's also incredibly simple to use. Capture picture-perfect panoramas and get prints approximately the size of two standard frames. With the Kompakt, you'll see the world from a whole new perspective.

Where are you headed to this summer? Where I'm from summer has ended too soon, so I'm still daydreaming of sand and seafoam. I decided to check out the archives for some cool beach-y snapshots and came across a lot of interesting underwater photos! Check out my finds after the jump; hopefully this list will inspire you to grab a Fisheye Sub or a Krab, along with your Fisheye cameras and LC-A+, for some underwater adventure.
It's always summer where I am. Ah, the perks of living in Indonesia: it's sunny here all the time. For me, summer happens all year-long here, so it won't hurt to share some tips on shooting during this season.
Shake well and apply to fabric. Blot out excess using a paper towel. Create your design using Inkofilm or anything that casts a shadow. Expose to sunlight or bright UV light for 10-20 minutes or until color reaches full saturation. Machine wash using Inkowash to remove unexposed dye. Double your exposure time in overcast weather. Enjoy the "wow" result!
I have been using the Diana extensively for the past two years. It was actually the camera that got my into film photography (something that I am so grateful for). So I have compiled a list of Diana tips for y’all…
