A quick trip around the Midwest with my friends in The Fray, documented with my Diana F+! Take a look after the jump.
My good friend Dave is the lead guitarist for the band The Fray. Whenever tour through my part of the country, I get to spend some time with them, and have gotten to know everyone on their production crew. The band is currently on a co-headline tour with pop-star Kelly Clarkson, and I got to hang out with them during their pass through Michigan and Ohio! And of course, I couldn’t forget my favorite documentation tool: the Diana F+!
I also got to design two t-shirts that they are selling this summer. The tour goes until mid-September, with two weeks of shows left. Be sure to check them out if you get a chance, and maybe pick up one of my shirts!
Have you guys seen any good concerts this summer? That’s all for now, until next time!

This month, after waiting for three years, my city Como hosted the Tour of Lombardy, an important event in the male elite road cycling tour. With my Fed 3 loaded with black and white film and equipped with ultra sharp Industar 50/3.5 lens, I documented the parade of cyclists who went to the starting line after they registered. Take a look after the jump!
Last Saturday my city, Como, hosted a festival dedicated to the hands called the Mani-Fest. With my lovely Minox GT-S camera and an expired 3200 ISO film roll, I documented this event which took place just below the windows of my room. Take a look after the jump!
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
Last Sunday, the local rugby team Rugby Como played the first match of the 2014-1025 season. Rugby is my favorite sport to photograph, and for some years I've been documenting almost every home match of this young team. This time I used a 1959 Zorki 5 camera with a vintage 1958 Industar-50 lens loaded with a timeless film, the Ilford HP5+ developed in a century-old developer, the mythical Rodinal. Take a look after the jump!
Steffen Böttcher's blog is already home to some very beautiful portraits taken with the New Petzval Lens. But the Petzval does so much more than just taking beautiful portraits; Böttcher recently took the lens with him on a mobile home adventure across the South of France. Find out more about the German photographer and his road trip in this exclusive interview.
The next time you find yourself wandering around town with your Lomo'Instant camera, here's a neat trick that you can do: choose a specific area and quickly snap an instant photo. Once it develops, hold it in the exact position or angle where you took the instant photo, and take a standard photo using your favorite camera. Does it sound confusing? Ah, well ... let's just show you how it's done! Check out the photos after the jump.

My wife and I suffered a family loss in October 2013 so we decided to shift things around and have a celebration of life—a wedding, actually—to associate our loss with the beginning of something positive and memorable. We have been together for nearly 13 years and after getting married, we headed off on a three-month trip to South America and a few other stops to complete a round-the-world loop back to Australia.
Done shooting and want your films to be processed? We can process your colour and black & white 35mm, 120 or 110 films! Development, prints and scans are also included. (Service availability depends on your markets)
