Cameron Highlands is a little hilly paradise full of hidden surprises and breathtaking scenery. While in Cameron Highlands, you should visit the Time Tunnel Museum, the first memorabilia museum in Malaysia. It was opened by See Kok Shan, an avid collector of knick-knacks and memorabilia.
There are two exhibition levels in Time Tunnel: up a short flight of steps, you can find a narrow ledge with exhibits on the floor, on tables, and also on shelves at eye-level.
Also take time to visit the BOH Tea Plantation founded in 1929 by J.A. Russel, a British businessman during the British colonial era in Malaya. Boh Tea Plantation has a total of 8,000 acres planted with tea, and prides itself to be the largest tea plantation in Southeast Asia.
The view of green rolling hills with the neat regular rows of tea plants is your reward for braving the narrow roads up to reach the plantation. When you reach the top, be sure to purchase a cup of tea and perhaps a slice of cake, and relax and enjoy the view for the rest of the afternoon.
