Life on Mars? We have all been curious about whether there has been any evidence of life on Mars. Let's all take a deep breath, because NASA has started the journey to find out what the answer to this question is.
What you just saw is NASA’s Mars rover, dubbed “Curiosity”, that just landed on the Red Planet on Sunday, August 5th, 2012. After a 36-week flight and quite a complex landing, the device is now ready to discover new lands! The rover has begun its “investigation” on Mars, which is expected to last for about two years. Until then, we will still have to place a blank for an answer to whether Mars ever hosted life.
To succeed in this mission, the Curiosity rover is equipped with seventeen cameras. The rover’s mast features seven cameras. There is one camera on the end of a robotic arm called the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI). In addition, there are nine cameras hard-mounted to the rover itself.
Now that we have so many cameras on Mars, how about putting Mars on a camera? Lomography’s La Sardina Copernicus is a limited edition camera that is great for anyone with a passion for the heavens above. The backside of the camera is decorated with the map of the universe (including Mars), while the front side has a map of stars constellations. If you’re a fan of anything that has to do with the planets and the universe, you should check it out for sure!

It was the Amazon which I had longed for my whole life. And when it was finally a set deal that I will travel to Brazil with two of my best friends for the Copa do Mundo (World Cup), we really had to start our adventure in the Amazon. I had known about this magical place deep in the rainforest. There was a lodge run by local people of indigenous background, with wooden houses that float on the water and a limited number of visitors. It was eco-tourism as how it should be. To preserve and to celebrate one of the most impressive locations I have seen so far.
