Berlin provides many opportunities to escape the daily city grind. One of my favorites is the Lake Lietzensee with its park in the west of the city!
Berlin is an awesome city. I got the fantastic Lomography City Guide Berlin and love exploring the city. However, there are only few locations in the city district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf described, so I will try to remedy that. ;D
Berlin is a bustling metropolis. Now and then, everyone seeks to escape the city’s hustle and bustle. One of the most ideal options for this are oases located in the city itself!
One of these is Lake Lietzensee in Charlottenburg. The park harboring it is bipartite, as the Neue Kantstrasse goes through it on a dam, which was erected specifically for this purpose.
It is a very serene place in the midst of the city and there are always people there, lounging about, jogging, going for a walk with dogs or without and there are even some steppers, bicycles, and other gymnastic apparatuses!
Definitely worth a visit if you are near!
