Every country is blessed with gifts from Mother Nature and I believe that there are other gems out there, aside from the more famous ones, like the Grand Canyon or the Milford Sound, that are waiting to be appreciated if we only took the time to see them. In my birth country of Malaysia, I believe we have our own spots worth discovering too.
I have been living here in Malaysia my whole life and I’ve managed to visit a few places filled with Nature’s beauty. I’ve also managed to capture them on film too, so I can share them to the world.
Teluk Chempedak Beach
Teluk Chempedak is a famous beach in Kuantan, Pahang. People go there for water sport activities, kite flying, or even just a nice picnic. Personally, I enjoy having a walk along the shore. Sometimes, I would just sit on the sand and listen to the relaxing sound of the waves, and once a while, I go there early in the morning to catch the beautiful sunrise.
Sungai Pandan Waterfall
Sungai Pandan Waterfall, formally known as Panching Waterfall, is located inside a forest. The water there is crystal clear and icy cool and I love soaking my feet while admiring the beauty of my surroundings! One can even have a picnic by the waterfall too!
Kemasik Beach is located in Terengganu. The rock formations there are unique and spectacular, and I always climb up one of the rock to enjoy the view of the sea. One activity that I never miss when I’m there is taking photographs.
Although Kenyir Lake is an artificial lake, it’s surrounded by luxurious forest. There is also a nearby waterfall too, and I’ve had a chance to visit it in the past. I also had my very first bird watching experience during my trip there too! Other activities such as jungle trekking and boating are available there.
Hopefully, I will get the chance to explore more places in the future. Nature is always a great source of inspiration, don’t you think?
