Remember the acidic anthems of 'Elixir Always' by Collapsing Cities that got Britain's locals and press (including NME and The Guardian) addicted to their groove? Well if you haven't heard, they've already released a new album called, 'Strangers Again'.
The Auckland indie raved the U.K. in 2006, topping the Bnet charts with their singles, including ‘Elixir Always’, ‘So I Said Last Weekend’ and ‘Seriously’. Collapsing Cities were picked out as one of the “10 Hopes for the Future” by NME. After the British great press, fame and glory, however, the band went pretty silent.
Now, after four years of hard work, Collapsing Cities is finally ready for a comeback with their second album entitled, “Strangers Again”.´
Here’s a preview of what’s in the track. The music video, ‘Tazers’, has already made an appearance some time ago, but it should be proof that the album was worth the wait.
Thank you for the new music Collapsing Cities!
