In a week, the largest sporting event in the world will begin in London. It will run for barely a month and will host hundred of games with participants from all over the world! Swell, eh?

From May 21 to 24, Somerset House will be hosting Photo London 2015, bringing together 72 of the most well respected galleries from all over globe. Each gallery will be presented in six areas, showing a mixture of vintage, modern and contemporary photography. There will be an extensive program of talks and events which are supported by the LUMA foundation.

A few weeks ago Como hosted a festival called La Notte Bianca dello Sport from afternoon until midnight. In the late evening I documented some of the activities which were held simultaneously throughout the whole town. Take a look!
This autumn, Como hosted a very important sporting event: a 6,000-meter rowing race on the lake. The race was first held in 1893. After 123 years, the Trofeo Villa D'Este has been revived. I documented this event with my trusty Praktica camera and two lenses, a 50mm and 135mm.

In this article, I'll show you my 2014 in analogue through the letters of the alphabet. All these photos were taken in the streets of my city, Como, or in close proximity (a few kilometers away from it), mainly during public or sporting events, and all in black and white.
