Along with our La Sardina DIY camera we’d like to present several DIY projects to inspire you. Our first project is a very easy (and super tasty) recipe to prepare some homemade summer popsicles by Miriam Lepore.
But what has this to do with the competitions section? Well, we’d like to try something new – complete the steps, then take one of your beloved analogue cameras (or the new La Sardina DIY camera), document the results, enjoy the popsicles and submit the photos once they are developed here. Please don’t upload any digital photos, don’t submit anything unrelated to this project (as much as we’d like to see you in your speedo, this is not the place) and watch out, the limit is two photos.
This is for fun and we’d like to present more projects like this in the future. See them all under diy.lomography.com. Let us know in the comments what you think of this and how you like this very project. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
With the 68th Cannes Film Festival kicking off today we thought we'd hold our very own film screening right here featuring, in no particular order, some of the best, well-crafted LomoKino videos by our fellow lomographers in the community. From documentary-like shorts to horror, comedy, romance, action, the surreal, and everything in between, we've got you covered. Bring out the popcorn!
We asked some of New York’s hottest designers to lend their talent in designing some of our La Sardina DIY cameras, and we are very excited to share with you Steen of Steen Drawings. Steen is a New York based illustrator who likes to create her own fantasy world and creates stories from her wild imagination. Take a look at Steen's wonderful work and get inspired to do your own DIY project.
These photographs, recently digitized through the efforts of the Cushing Center at the Yale School of Medicine, come from the collection of patient photography of Harvey Cushing, M.D., the father of neurosurgery.
Originally from USA, biochemistry student Hayden Williams traveled halfway across the world to continue his studies in Hong Kong. Going to the Far East opened an opportunity for him to explore what he truly love the most: photography. His adventures in his current home, no matter how spontaneous, are captured in well-executed double exposure photographs. Meet our newcomer of the week, haydenwilliams.
