This camera has a rainbow on it. Meet Tamara and her happy, comic inspired La Sardina DIY.
Tell us a quick something about yourself. How old are you? Where are you from? What’s your background?
Hello to you! I am 27, I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but my education background comes from Italy. I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
What did you have for breakfast today?
I didn’t have it yet, but every day I have a big cup of coffee and cereal. I recommend Knusperli :)
Can you tell us something about the inspiration behind your La Sardina DIY? Is that you on the front of the camera?
Well, I actually for years drew the same kind of comics while I was still studying. Now I only remembered how much I liked them. I could say that there is always a bit of me in those characters :)
What is the girl on the design listening to?
If you had another La Sardina DIY, how would you design it? What would you use?
I would maybe use only black and white, much more characters, but the same style of comics :)
Any tips for someone who doesn’t know where to start with theirs?
Well, my advice is to draw first on a paper – so you have more possibilities and it’s easier after to choose. The colors that I used are permanent markers. If you have normal markers, you can use a transparent nail polish to fix it after.
And a most important thing – draw something that is really yours, your camera is like your tattoo, you don’t want something that you’ll be get bored after some time.
With the new La Sardina DIY Edition you can have it all your own way! Put your artistic talent to good use and decorate it any way you want. Thanks to the interchangeable panels and special ink permeable material, letting your imagination loose on the La Sardina DIY couldn’t be more fun!
