The collaboration between Lomography and Los Angeles lifestyle website, L.A. Taco, is back! To kick things off, here are the LC-A+ snaps by photographer, curator, and Arrested Motion director, Khoi Ich Nguyen. See his sun-drenched portraits of Southern California here!
We started the Taco de Lomography partnership with L.A. TACO last year, and after a successful first leg, we’ve begun another series of this golden coast team up!
L.A. TACO and Lomography are pleased to present the return of the Taco de Lomography series, wherein some of our favorite photographers take a Lomography LC-A camera out into the wilds of Los Angeles to capture the Taco Lifestyle on film.
For the first set, Associate Editor and West Coast Director for Arrested Motion, Khoi Ich Nguyen, shows us that the sun just shines brighter on the Pacific side of America. Take a look at his LC-A+ portraits of L.A. and let the East Coast haters hate.
Nguyen, also an art curator, collector, writer, and photographer, shows us what it’s like to lead a Cali life and here’s what we found out: being an L.A. native means spending long, lazy days catching waves at the beach, snapping colleagues and strangers hamming it up on the streets, and getting sustenance from various food trucks and grub stalls. Tacos are number one on the list, of course! ;-)
