Here at the Lomography Gallery Store Gramercy, we are all about our community and sharing our love for analog photography with anyone who wants to join! We have a group of regulars from the local Fashion Institute of Technology lead by Curtis Willocks, a professor at the school, who stop by to borrow cameras from us through our Lend-a-Lomo program for various special events and fun activities. Recently, we gathered up all of our favorite cameras and sent these lovers of analog out shooting!
What: The Mermaid Parade
When: Saturday, June 23rd, 2012
Where: Coney Island
Camera: Featured here, Diana F+
Technique: Portrait and Festival Photography
These group of folks were especially excited because they were headed down to Coney Island for the annual Mermaid Parade! If you have never been to this, you must go next year, as it is a fantastic array of costumes, colors, and quirky fun. The photos featured here were taken by the lovely Justyna Fijalaska on a Diana F+. We think they came out truly beautifully and can’t believe those fantastic colors and light leaks!
If you are interested in borrowing a camera yourself, stop by, call, or email us and ask about our Lend-a-Lomo Program!
