One month we gave you the chance to take part in our collaboration with Berlin Fashion Film Festival to show us your best LomoKino fashion movie. Now we want to announce the winner of 'Best LomoKino Production' whose movie will be shown at several places during Berlin Fashion Week beginning of July. And the winner is...
STEFFENFISCHER known as SCHDAEWN with his LomoKino movie ‘Sewing Machine’
Congratulations to Best LomoKino Production Steffen!
Schdaewn convinced us and the jury of the Berlin Fashion Film Festival with his storyline of a dress maker played by Hannah Lucia Gilhooley. The excellent film features music by Alexander May.
His movie ‘Sewing Machine’ will be screened on July 5th at The Wye, on July 6th at SCOOPAND from July 4th to July 6th at the Lomography Gallery Store Berlin. Furthermore the LomoKino movie will be shown together with all other winning movies of the Fashion Film Festival on the Festival Homepage from July 9th onwards. Additionally Steffen gets two tickets for the Berlin Fashion Film Festival which will take place on July 3rd from 7 to 11pm at RADIALSYSTEM V.
Also we would like to congratulate the 2nd place winner nadinadu to her fashion movie! The movie will also be screened from July 4th to July 6th at the Lomography Gallery Store Berlin.
Berlin Fashion Film Festival takes place during Berlin Fashion Week in July and is curated by major creative players like Vogue Italy, Esmod Berlin and Sugarhigh. Furthermore it has to offer an international “Who’s Who” list of jury members, including German DJ Oliver Koletzki, New York based director Johan Renck as well as Paris based fashion critic and video journalist Diane Pernet and many more.
Just last month, we gave you the opportunity to win beautifully illustrated goodies from UK-based illustrator Helena Carrington. From over 1000 entries, Helena herself has personally picked her Top 3 images and we are happy to announce the winners of Helena Carrington notebooks and cushions.
Last month, we launched the very first photo competition to honor the phenomenal New Petzval Lens. With over 300 submissions, choosing the very best ones was certainly a challenge! Are you ready to see who made the cut?
Yay! The Best of the LomoKino for the month of June is now ready for viewing. Take a look at the awesome submissions that we received last month! Congratulations to those whose movies made it to the compilation.
We had a huge response from this competition and quite rightly so, I mean who wouldn't want the chance to win a copy of the new Flying Lotus album? Anyway, we've picked our way through them all and chosen the best three. Find out who has won here.
Aaaaaand we're back to regular programming! Apologies that it took us long to reveal December's winners, we had too much eggnog and partied way past our bedtime. So without further delay, here's The Best of the LomoKino - December.

A year ago we started a series highlighting the very best LomoKino movies. We asked you to share your LomoKino masterpieces for a chance to be included in our monthly compilation, and you happily obliged. Now we're proud to present the Best of the LomoKino for the past year - enjoy!
In line with this year's Film Photography Day celebration, we went on a tough yet exciting search for the best analogue portraits. Our mission's over and now it's time to uncover the fantastic photographs we've found!
Are you ready for an adrenaline rush? A little while ago, we teamed up with the snowboard and film-making collective Yougofirst and gave them a LomoKino and some film rolls to play with. After a season of crazy riding, jumps and tricks, they have finished their latest movie HETEROTOPIA which features footage shot with our 35mm movie-maker. We had the chance to catch up with Vid and Matic from the collective about the new movie and their experiences shooting analogue on the slopes. It's also our pleasure to showcase the movie here!
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
