There’s a new rumble that’s about to start any moment from now, but before you get too excited, read this post first and learn more what’s it about here!
Uploading photos is sure an easy task for you Lomoheads owners out there, after which, organise them into albums and might as well make something out of it, say, a teaserwall! These are usually the routines one must do on maintaining a spic and span kind of LomoHome, although there’s a teenie bit of thing you forgot to do, and that is to complete the photo’s metadata. It sounds like a chore but, not really.
Let’s play a game then!
We will have a couple of flash rumble this entire weekend – Tag it! is what it’s called! So how it works? Easy, we will give you a specific tag, camera, or film (anything that can be seen in a Metadata) and you just have to submit your shots that bear that certain tag we’re looking for! And by flash rumble, we mean it’s going to be quick ones, they might just last a few hours or shorter! So you better not let your guards down and be quick!
Stay tuned at our Competitions section from 29th of June to 1st of July for these!
From the moment you start building this lovable SLR camera to when you start shooting those dreamy shots, it’s a sensational adventure! Yes, you read it right - the world’s first 35mm Do It Yourself SLR Camera is now flash enabled!
Hello, fellow lomographers! To be honest, ever since I started working last year, I haven't been able to write a single analogue lifestyle piece. But today I decided to write something about my days, especially about my weekend in Bandung. It's not much but I take it as the start of a new beginning in writing all over again here. So, here's my weekend in Bandung!
It's only been a couple of days since Lomography launched its first dedicated instant camera via Kickstarter, but it seems to have already caused quite a stir not only here in the community but in other websites as well. See what the press is saying about the new Lomo'Instant camera in this first of two parts of our press recaps!
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
Even great photographers need help in making their prints as brilliant as their artistic vision. In this video, Robin Bell talks about developing and printing the pictures of David Bailey and Terence Donovan the old-fashioned way.
Joel Byron is a long time fan of Lomography who uses analog methods at his video and film production agency, BigPlus. Back in 2010, he painstakingly put together the Lomography Caterpillar Matrix video which made over 60,000 hits. This time around, he captures video footage of London with the New Petzval Lens, delivering stunning results.
These photographs, recently digitized through the efforts of the Cushing Center at the Yale School of Medicine, come from the collection of patient photography of Harvey Cushing, M.D., the father of neurosurgery.
Originally from USA, biochemistry student Hayden Williams traveled halfway across the world to continue his studies in Hong Kong. Going to the Far East opened an opportunity for him to explore what he truly love the most: photography. His adventures in his current home, no matter how spontaneous, are captured in well-executed double exposure photographs. Meet our newcomer of the week, haydenwilliams.
