If you have a slow hand and an easy touch then the Lubitel 166+ is the camera for you. There’s something about its plastic body and peering down through the waist-level finder which makes it simply irresistible.
The Love Touch
Embrace all of the Lubitel’s little dials and knobs and throttle down a bit. Spend some time. Take it slow; there’s really no rush. Move your subject into the perfect position and have them cock their head just right. Plan out each little bit and savor every single moment. With results like these, you won’t regret it.
Games of Love
Of course it doesn’t all have to be serious and methodical. That’s not very Lomographic. The Lubitel 166+ will lend itself for some heavy experimentation too. So shoot 120 or 35mm; take two, three or a dozen shots on the same frame. You can even shoot a huge overlapping, multi-exposed panoramic image. Whatever you do, just shoot from the hip with this gorgeous waist level camera.
Shooting with the Lubitel 166+ will unlock a whole new analogue experience for you. Now that it’s back in stock, it’s the perfect time for you to fall in love with the camera that will make everyone look twice.
Are you ready for a twin-lensed whirlwind romance? Do you want to find love from waist level? A timeless analogue heartthrob has returned, and we bet you won’t be able to resist its charms. Friends and lovers, the Lubitel 166+ is back in stock!

Like a cluster of cherry blossoms, the temples in Kyoto can stop visitors in their tracks. These people assume the pose of a statue, a camera dangling from their neck and hands. On a first visit especially, the impulse to photograph every angle is constant. The Kinkaku-ji Temple and the torii-lined Fushimi Inari-Taisha are always packed; one would think the tourists would hurry along. But really, many are busy taking snatches of Kyoto with them.
Inspired by summertime in bloom, the new Lomo’Instant Kyoto Edition is the latest addition to our creative instant photography line-up!
