The winners are up and about! Wondering if you’re one of them? You could be, but you’ll never know until you see the list of achievers!
To refresh your minds a bit, we asked for shots that respond to the subject of strangeness and of the unexplained – the supernatural. And let me just tell this, you guys are the adventurous bunch! Never did we receive such pictures of awesomeness! We just can’t stop wondering how the hell you came up with them, what’s with their surreal quality and absolute abstraction, not only our jury had a hard time deciding who to win, but they also had so much fun poring over your shots!
With the eerie quality of this shot, it was a unanimous decision that the Jury made this our winner for the Supernatural showdown!
This picture of someone who looks like half disappearing from sight of a wide and white horizon, is the Community’s top-liked entry!
A very deserving lot, I say! Congratulations! They will be given their prizes as promised, Piggy points and badges will be handed over, soon!
Among the many amazing shots submitted in this showdown, and we’re quite thrilled to show you some of our nifty selections from that pool, they’re just too many good shots in there, so please have a look!
There is nothing better than a photo shot at the perfect moment. Henri Cartier-Bresson's principle on "The Decisive Moment" is a principle that we should still follow to this day. A perfectly-timed photo creates impact, whether it's one of a friend jumping into the pool or a couple emerging from the ceremony on their wedding day. For this rumble, we want to see that breathtaking moment, shot at the perfect time. And you showed us what it's like to be on time.
Really want to bring your film photos to life? We’re now offering totally analogue fine art prints in a host of large sizes and formats! Carefully enlarged from your negatives onto premium photographic paper by lab professionals, each picture is a unique piece of craftsmanship.

Avid travelers are always on the lookout for their next great adventure, and if you're one of them, might we suggest the bustling city of Seoul? We're sure you'll be planning a trip here once you see the wanderlust-inducing lomographs by our fellow community members!
If you're like me who has a film lab at home, you'll know the feeling of having too much film rolls lying around the house. Instead of throwing them out, you can use them to decorate the way I fill our transparent coffee table with them!
My list of resolutions for 2015 consists of 12 projects, one for every month. In February, I wanted to take one of those long exposure night shots of traffic. You know the type: nighttime cityscape, with bright red and white stripes where traffic passes. I love those shots, but I had never gotten around taking one.
Here's the third and final part of my Lomography Day Trip features about Ubud. To be honest, there are a lot of places there that are worth visiting, but I just picked some of them to help you make the best of your trip. So prepare your notes or travel books and take note of the must-see places that I'll mention below. Maybe one day you'll visit Ubud.
If you're the happy owner of a Lomo LC-Wide, you are probably overwhelmed and frustrated at not being able to use your three different frames on one film. But this tipster will let you make magic happen!
You want your subject be the center of attention? Petzval lens photos are recognizable for sharpness and crispness in the centre, strong color saturation, wonderful swirly bokeh effect, artful vignettes and narrow depth of field that will make your subjects stand out!
If you want to know the heart of a person, peek inside his/her wardrobe! And no, nobody famous said that; I only just made it up. But really, don't you think it's true? After all, the way we dress screams our personality; at least for most of us. And that is why, as soon as I land on a new city, one of the things I absolutely must do is find the local boutiques. Sure, I love the fancy chain boutiques as much as the next person, but there's just something else about a local clothing store. It's unique!
What comes to mind when you think of Boston? Maybe it's the Red Sox, or maybe it's Baked Beans? With our newest competition to celebrate the release of the Lomo'Instant Boston Edition, we want to know what Boston means to you. Even if you've never been to Boston — no problem! We want to see your best shots that represent Boston to you!
There's nothing more satisfying than taking fantastic photos with a camera that you built yourself. It's also a cool way to get them into Lomography, because as you build the camera you'll discover how analogue photography works. Oh, and the Konstruktor takes gorgeous photos, too - check out the gallery and see what we mean!
