X-Pro Your Analogue Life!

7

Aside from Lomography's newest baby, the Fisheye Baby 110 Camera, which was last week's mystery product, we also featured colors in our Magazine the past few days.

And man, we can’t just get enough of those lovely colours in high-contrast! Bright and fun to look at, these Lomographs definitely doubles the fun of analogue photography.

Well, what better way can we achieve bursting unexpected colours? By cross-processing, of course! What is cross-processing, you ask? It is the procedure of processing film using different chemicals intended for a different kind of film.

So for this week’s selection of Lomographs by the Community, we give you 50 stunning analogue photos which were cross-processed. Enjoy!

We are pretty sure there are more stunning cross-processed Lomographs out there! So what are you waiting for, head on and submit!

Epic, epic shots in here. Fantastic selection! (And yes, I'm very happy to have my pig over Battersea Power Station shot in there too - thanks! - although, to be honest, it looks pretty humble among these other great pictures.)

    My Lomo’Instant Quick Tips

I backed the Kickstarter project for the Lomo’Instant earlier this year and was thrilled to receive it last week. I love how the camera naturally encourages you to experiment with its different features, whether it’s through flashing your multiple exposures with different colors or trying different creative techniques after your shots has been ejected. Here are a few tips from what I’ve discovered from playing with the camera so far (and a couple of tips I want to try out in future)!

The Magic Yet To Come: Part 1

Here’s a random and rather mysterious tale for you folks. Just the other day, I was at a local bar with a few friends. It was much like any other evening; we were sipping a couple of cocktails, recounting our adventures, falling over ourselves with laughter and half-drunkenly meditating on the meaning of life (a scientist once told me it’s 42 by the way). But then something truly strange happened. Read on to hear my story and please make a comment with your guess at the end!

LomoAmigos Yougofirst Shoot With The LomoKino In Their New Snowboard Movie

Are you ready for an adrenaline rush? A little while ago, we teamed up with the snowboard and film-making collective Yougofirst and gave them a LomoKino and some film rolls to play with. After a season of crazy riding, jumps and tricks, they have finished their latest movie HETEROTOPIA which features footage shot with our 35mm movie-maker. We had the chance to catch up with Vid and Matic from the collective about the new movie and their experiences shooting analogue on the slopes. It's also our pleasure to showcase the movie here!

    A Compilation of Lomo'Instant Stories

There are many possible reasons for taking pictures. It could be to document an event, to capture breathtaking scenery, to preserve a fond memory, or simply, to have a snapshot of someone close to your heart. Whatever the reason, there's almost always a story behind a picture, no matter how significant or trivial it may be. And for lomographers, nothing beats the feeling of having that story unfold in your hand, in the form of a print. If you want a quick keepsake from that treasured moment or a snapshot of that special someone though, you can have it instantly, through Lomo'Instant Stories!
