Lomographers are known to be hypersaturation fiends and anything that comes short of it is considered a bad photo and doesn’t really correspond to their analogue aesthetics. So it’s somewhat rare to meet someone like Mapix who enjoys using a panchromatic film!

It differentiates finest grey-nuances, but at the same time contains a great range of contrast. Never vindictive if you`re not sure of the ideal exposure. It’s only available for 35mm now, but there is a superb
alternative for medium format : the similar Ilford XP 2 (also uses C-41 process)
Would you recommend this to other Lomographers? If yes, to whom do you have in mind?
Of course, but to nobody particular. Black and white is a great experience, like diving into another world. Less is more! For me it`s not easy to change between colour and b+w films cause I have got to see things with complete different eyes. Like turning a switch in my head. But black and white has it`s very own character, far away from being nostalgic!
