Ashton Court Estate is located just outside the City of Bristol in South East England. I love this place not only because it's a beautiful place to take pictures any day of the year, but also because of the events that happen here throughout the year.
Ashton Court is a great location for taking pics; it’s set over a hill so from the top you get vistas almost all the way across to Bath and over most of Bristol, and from the bottom there are fields full of deer to train your lens on.
I also love the fact that there are various festivals and events that happen here. Just the other weekend there was the International Balloon Fiesta and coming up in September there’s the International Kite Festival… both prime spots for lomographers to take some great pics!
Then of course there’s the grand old estate house, painted a bright gorgeous yellow that just zings in the sun.
So take a trip to Ashton Court, get there over the Clifton Suspension Bridge too… double whammy!
The 2015 UEFA Champions League Final will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on June 6. It is a place full of history and is also the only football stadium with a blue track course. Some say it is the most beautiful stadium in the world, and I totally agree with them. But then agai,n I might be biased because it is the home court of my favorite team, Hertha BSC Berlin—my blue-white bloodline.
